If no corrosion traces are visible on the metal, a polyurethane primer‑finish coating ARMOPUR® DTM 162 can be applied directly to the existing coating. The material contains zinc phosphate, is flexible, which is especially important for thin‑sheet cladding, and offers high resistance to fading and long‑term color retention. If corrosion traces are present, after removal the surface should be primed with ARMEPOX 041 and a finish layer of polyurethane enamel applied.
